With over 20 years of experience in Journalism across Television, Print, and Digital media, Joydeep Dasgupta as a Multi-Media Journalist has excelled in creative storytelling through various roles in mainstream media, including Zee News and Sahara TV. He is currently the Editor at News Sense and the Founder of Media Skills Lab.

He specializes in Fact-Checking and the use of Artificial Intelligence in Newsrooms. As a Media Literacy Trainer, he is associated with the Google News Initiative India Training Network, the Asian American Journalist Association, and Fact Shala. He is also an Accredited Trainer for the Solutions Journalism Network, focusing on the Asia Pacific region.

Joydeep mentors Journalism students from Southeast Asia as part of the AAJA-Asia N3ConU Mentorship program. He is an Adjunct Faculty at Amity University, Heritage College, and Sister Nivedita University in Kolkata.
